What is EPR?
EPR stands for Extended Producer Responsibility, which indicates any Producer/Manufacturer, Importer, Distributor/Retailer involved in such trading activity that generates electronic waste, has to obtain EPR approval from CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board). This e-waste is channelised as per the guidelines and rules of CPCB by the process of collection and right disposal.
Who needs to apply for E-waste EPR Approval?
E-waste approval is a mandate approval for all types of below entity involved in trading activity of electric / electronic products in whole or components of same.

Process of EPR, Validy and Timeline
