WASTE MANAGEMENT (EPR - Extended Producers Responsibility)
Extended Producer Responsibility is a mode of strategizing the estimated environment costs pertaining to a product and its life cycle in proportion to market price of that product. Putting in simpler words, EPR is environmental responsibility laid on businesses by Central Pollution Control Board, to collect waste through various means basis their production or import of goods that eventually cause hazard to environment.
Businesses are responsible for complete cycle of its products' lifetime which includes, timely and efficient collection of waste materials, its transportation, storage, recycling and disposal in appropriate manner.
